All this week I was one of 100 artists to take part in Plein Air Brandywine Valley Art Competition. The Gala opening is tonight, if you can't attend the swanky gala tonight, see if you can come see the exhibit now through this Sunday at 4pm, location is at the Tatnall School. I can't wait to see everyone's work tonight. I was too busy painting and missed seeing all my friend's masterpieces.

eaves and Bursts of Color!
Dear Gallery Friend,

It's that time of year- falling leaves, pumpkins, crisp air, hot apple cider, warm jackets, hayrides, and cozy scarves-did I mention beautiful artwork at Other Colors Gallery?

Please be our guest this Friday, October 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for our Autumn Harvest Art Show.  All of the artwork featured in this exhibit showcase the season of Fall- the most beautiful and colorful time of year!  This particular show includes artwork from 14 unique local artists and has a variety of styles and media including watercolor paintings, oil paintings, photography, collage, and wood carvings!  All artwork is priced under $300 in case you might be looking for that perfect unique gift for someone special!

Warm up with a glass of apple cider (or wine) and and enjoy a fabulous evening of art, fun, music, friends, and FALL!

Sincerely,

Nicki

Update via Carol Hart Metzker:

Great news -
the Human Trafficking Hotline bill (HB 235/SB 338) passed the PA House unanimously at 5:35 last night.

Thanks to all of you and your friends for making calls to get it on the calendar.

We'll probably need similar help to get it through the PA Senate; I'll let you know what's happening with that as soon as I know.

Again, thank you for help,
Carol
Thanks to all who made calls and let their voices be heard!
